Founded in 1992, NoNoNonet features musicians from Duke Ellington Legacy, Ornette Coleman, Chico O'Farrill's Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra, The New York City Opera, The Dance Theater of Harlem, Barbara Striesand, Luther Vandross, La India, Frankie Ruiz, Tito Puente, and Broadway orchestras. They came together in New York City from diverse backgrounds to create eclectic and dynamic music. Musical influences include the known universe. 

NoNoNonet has performed in many of New York's finest jazz clubs; Birdland, the Knitting Factory, Kavehaz, and the West End. They have made appearances at the New York Brass Conference, the What is Jazz Festival, the Bryant Park Young Performer's Series, The Washington Square Park Summer Series, Historic Battery Park, the Empire State Building, and the McGraw-Hill Outdoor Concert Series at Rockefeller Center.  

They have given concerts and master classes at the LaGuardia School for Performing Arts, New York University, the Mannes College of Music, Brooklyn College, the City University of New York's Graduate Center, Long Island University, the Dalton School, and the Louis Armstrong Middle School.
